Positive thinking

Alexa's Angels, Windsor, Colo., designed the Positivity bracelet
Alexa's Angels, Windsor, Colo., designed the Positivity bracelet to help residents of that community deal with the one-year anniversary of a tornado that ripped through their town. In May, company founder Beth Lang mailed more than 2,500 sets to friends, family and customers with a letter asking the receiver to keep one and pass the others on. Then the company gave away more bracelets in exchange for a non-perishable food donation to benefit a local food pantry.

"Positivity can be contagious. It fuels optimism, hope and feelings of strength and these are things we can all use and share," Lang says.
