IMAX Worldwide Home will show new made in the USA upholstered furniture at the April High Point market


IMAX Worldwide Home will introduce a line of upholstered furniture created in the USA at the High Point market this month. See the Made in the USA collection in the IMAX showroom, IHFC W446. 

The Made in the USA upholstered furniture collection is constructed on a solid base using mixed hardwoods with sturdy corner bracing. The collection also has patented vertical fiber seating, 8-gauge sinuous wire springs, dense foam cushioning and Dacron wrap for luxurious comfort. High Point exhibitors plan new showrooms, move locations

The excitement is heating up for the April High Point Market, April 20 to 25, with new exhibitors joining this premiere design destination, and current exhibitors upgrading or expanding existing spaces. Here is a full list of showroom additions and changes.

Suites at Market Square

Salon, on the Ground and Mezzanine floors of the Suites at Market Square, has become a prime destination for new and innovative products and companies. After a successful expansion to the Mezzanine level of the Suites at Market Square last Market, Salon is welcoming 13 new companies this April. New exhibitors include:

Commerce & Design Building

Several exhibitors are relocating into new spaces in the Commerce & Design Building for the April Market. They include:

A new company, Industrial Fix, is showing in the Commerce & Design building for the High Point Market, in space 4P.

220 Elm

Third-generation solid wood specialist Cresent Fine Furniture is launching a new category of contemporary-styled collections at the upcoming High Point Spring Market. To accommodate the new introductions, Cresent is moving to a new showroom space in the 220 Elm building, space #201.

Relocated and expanded companies in 220 Elm include Huppe in 333, where the company added 500 square feet; Sauder in 218, with an additional 5,000 square feet; Eilersen has moved to Showroom 312 from 310; and In Room has moved to Showroom 310 from 210.

New companies to the High Point Market are showing in 220 Elm during the April show, including Eurosace in space 302, Human Touch in space 311, Huntington Industries in space 326, Lumitonic in space 311, MCT – Home in space 302, andWoessner in space 302.


Jaipur is moving into a new remodeled showroom at Showplace 3300. The company is taking their showroom experience to the next level with more products on display than ever before, with over 1,000 new designs.


HGTV HOME Furniture is moving to a new larger 13,000-square-foot showroom on the 12th floor of the IFHC Commerce wing, next to the Bassett showroom. The new HGTV HOME Furniture showroom will share a reception area, lobby, and showroom address with Bassett, but each brand will continue to have its own separate independent showroom.

Wood and metal furniture manufacturer Chromcraft Revington is moving to a new showroom in the IHFC for the April High Point Market. Chromcraft Revington will exhibit in a 10,000-square-foot showroom in the IHFC’s Commerce wing, space C602. The company’s previous showroom was in Showplace.

Center Point

Emerald Home Furnishings will occupy a second High Point showroom at the spring Market. The company has leased a new 3,800-square-foot showroom in space #105 on the main floor of the Center Point Building at 401 S. Hamilton Street. The new space is in addition to the company’s primary space at #201 in the Center Point Building, bringing the company’s combined showroom space in High Point to over 28,000 square feet.

Elsewhere in High Point

Ambella Home has moved to High Point's Hamilton Wrenn Design District, with a new showroom at 310 North Hamilton, Suite 110. Ambella Home's new and expanded space will put the spotlight on the fine furnishings resource's evolving product line, custom capabilities and other designer-friendly services.

High-end case goods manufacturer Taracea will open its expanded showroom in the Radio Building. After completing extensive restoration of the building’s 5,000-square-foot first floor last fall, which included a massive art installation, Taracea presented a limited number of its products in the new space during the October trade show. Since then, the company has added the building’s lower level and second floor, for a total of 15,000 square feet.

Cox Mfg. Co. has moved into a new space in 200 Steele, Suite #136.

Agio International is returning to High Point with an expanded presence at Showplace 1512. The exhibit space will increase from 3,000 square feet to almost 5,000 square feet for the Spring Market, more than doubled the showroom size from its 2012 debut. The more prominent showroom space will accommodate several more collections on display, allow greater design possibilities, and enable better visitor flow.

Fremarc Designs and Burton James are moving into a new space at 310 N. Hamilton, Suite 101. The newly designed space will showcase case goods and seating from Fremarc Designs and upholstered goods from Burton James. The companies will celebrate the new showroom with cocktails and entertainment on Saturday, April 20 at 6pm.

Woodard Outdoor Furniture is set to open their second showroom at the High Point Market in the Pavilions on Main, supplementing their original space on the second floor of Market Square. The Pavilions at the IHFC is sold out for the April market, with a total of 50 exhibitors.

Home Essentials in Suite 400 is always turning around their showroom and newest product for display in colorful sections filled to the ceiling while steps away you can visit Godingers’ Suite 407 full of beautiful crystal and silver pieces.

The latest AQ tableware collections are at Robely in Suite 423, happily awaiting your arrival.

Zak! Designs in Suite 700 at the elevator front, gives new shape to their serving bowls, increasing functionality to their Luna colanders, and adding fun with their new mini trivbits.
